Physical description: Karlin isn't one of the slimmest females out there but she isn't completely large either so she still manages to be attractive to the males. Karlin's feathers are a light silvery-white color all the way down her back until they fade to a dark gray color. Her markings on the side of her face and chest are orange-yellow that darken underneath her neck. Her most identifying mark is a silver stripe on her left flipper that stands out amidst the rest of the dark gray feathers on her flipper.

Shy
Karlin prefers to stay in the shadows of others as she hates to be singled out and will happily fade into a crowd if she can. She would like to avoid talking to new penguins if she can help it and unless she is approached first she will stay out of others company and stand quietly by herself for as long as she can.

Intelligent
Contrary to popular belief Karlin is quite intelligent. She just doesn't have a chance to show it to others as she doesn't really speak much but if you can get her talking for just one conversation you'll notice how much smarts she really has.

To say the least Karlin is far from a leader, she prefers to have others make the decisions for her and tell her what to do. Although she'll provide feedback and suggestions if asked... After all, she has a mind that allows her to be far-sighted and make good decisions she herself just lacks the confidence to execute the plans that she herself thinks of, so she just needs a little help... Or rather, a lot of help.
