Hello and welcome to Ikeyn, especially if you are thinking about joining!
This site is a post-by-post, text-based RPG (role playing game), where you can roleplay penguin characters.
On this game you can create a character and write stories about the penguins of Ikeyn with other members. The site's name, Ikeyn, is the name of the fictional island on which these penguins live. We are a semi-realistic RPG, meaning that your character must look and behave like a normal penguin (though we allow, of course, human-ish emotions and behaviours).
Currently we are focusing on King Penguins, but in the future we may allow other penguin species to be created.
The aim of the site is to be a laid-back game where members can just jump in and start playing, without having to worry about too much of a plot or backstory. Our 'story' focuses on the daily lives and adventures of these penguins, but individual and site-wide plots can be thought up and played out by members.
We encourage members of any age and skill level of roleplaying to jump in and have fun!
